Poquoson Diner’s Club– We making eating social & fun!
Do you enjoy eating out, trying a new place, and visiting out of the
ordinary spots in our local area? This program chooses a unique eatery or restaurant that features any combination of great food, great chefs, and special atmospheres. The only cost to you for participating is a $5.00 transportation fee for each trip. You choose from each menu, and the cost of lunch and gratuity is on your own. You must pre-register for each lunch out. The van leaves the Poquoson Municipal Building each day at 11:30 am and approximate return is 2:00 pm.

Day Trips
All trips listed here depart from the Municipal Building. All trips travel in a 15 passenger van. All registration is taken on a first come, first served basis.
No reservations are held until full payment and registration are received.
No call-in reservations are accepted.
Norfolk Naval Cruise June 24, 2008: Board the Victory Rover in Norfolk—at Nauticus for a 2 hour narrated cruise around the Norfolk harbor, see the Naval Base and those ships in port. The rover provides seating inside and out. Depart: 9:30am. Following the cruise the group will visit MacArthur Center for light shopping and lunch on your own. Return by 4:30pm. Cost: $24.00 Includes transportation and cruise. Minimum of 10. Max of 13. Must register by June 1.
Rowena’s Tea Room July 25, 2008 : Depart 10:30am Return 3:00pm Have tea and light lunch at Rowena’s in Norfolk in the Ghent area of town. Shop for fine cakes and jams. Cost is $8. Lunch on own. Min is 6 Max is 12 Deadline is July 27.
Colonial Downs Monday, August 4th Depart 3:15pm return 10:30pm approx. Travel to New Kent for a night of thoroughbred horse racing. Cost $18, includes transportation and admission to Jockey Club. Food & bets on own, cost of race program not included. Min is 6 Max is 12 Deadline is July 27.
