The City of Poquoson offers a variety of playing areas and facilities throughout the city. Information for reserving various spaces for your events or use is done by calling Poquoson Park and Recreation at 868-3580. |

Kid’s Island Playground |
|
Community built playground in Phillips Parks. No reservations are taken for picnic areas within the Playground. This playground is located in the front of Poquoson High School.

Phillips Park |
|
Large playing fields and park areas, located on Odd Road. |

Oxford Run Canal Trail |
|
This walking trail is located around City Hall and around towards Wythe Creek Road. The walk is scenic and relaxing. Download a Map for the Trail |

Messick Point |
|
Enjoy boat ramp put in area and trailer parking. Put in here and you will find you are approximately only 18 nautical miles from the center of the Chesapeake Bay. |

Stadium Turf Field |
|
This full size football and soccer stadium is fully a state of the art turf field. Home to High School athletics and select PPR sports programs. |

Park Street Little League Softball/Baseball Complex |
|
This complex contains three lights fields. 2 are primarily set for Little League Baseball Play and one field with a skinned infield is desirable for softball and t-ball programs. |

South Lawson Park |
|
Currently under construction for .additional multi-purpose fields. This site is currently home to 2 existing soccer fields used both in the spring and fall. |

Tennis Courts at Poquoson High School |
|
4 lighted courts are available for use at the Poquoson High School. These courts were resurfaced in 2007. Lighting is free for use. |

Odd Road Community Center |
|
This small building at 49 Odd Road is available for rental to individuals for parties and events. Capacity for the building is 65. Reservations and 2010 rental costs are available at PPR at 868-3580. Poquoson Civic Groups wishing to utilize this space must also make arrangements with PPR to utilize this meeting space.

Municipal Park and Pool |

This park located at the center of the City near Poquoson Avenue and Cedar Road is home to the Municipal Pool a small picnic shelter and softball field area. To reserve the picnic shelter please call 868-3580. |
